Sight Screen has not launched. The only thing this site does with your data is hold an email address so it can tell you when it opens.
Who we are
SHAC Apps is the data controller for the Sight Screen waitlist. You can reach us at info@shac.uk.
What we collect
Your email address, and nothing else. There is no name field, no club field and no account. We do not ask for anything we do not need to send one email.
We also count page views using Vercel Web Analytics. It sets no cookies and builds no profile, so there is no cookie banner on this site and nothing to opt out of.
Why we collect it
To email you once, on the day Sight Screen opens to clubs. We do not send a newsletter, we do not send product updates, and we do not sell or share the list with anyone for marketing.
Our lawful basis
Consent, under Article 6(1)(a) of the UK GDPR. You give it by submitting the form, and you can withdraw it at any time — see below. Withdrawing does not affect anything done before you withdrew.
Who else sees it
Resend stores the list and sends the launch email on our behalf. Vercel hosts this site and processes the request that carries your address to Resend. Both act on our instructions only.
Both may process data outside the UK. Where they do, transfers are covered by their own standard contractual clauses and the UK addendum.
How long we keep it
Until the launch email has been sent, or until you ask to be removed — whichever comes first. After that your address is deleted from the list. If Sight Screen does not launch, the list is deleted and we tell you.
What you can ask for
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to what we do with it, or to have it sent to you in a portable form. You can withdraw consent at any time.
Email info@shac.uk and we will action it within one month. There is nothing to prove and no form to fill in — the request is enough.
How to come off the list
Email info@shac.uk and say so, or use the unsubscribe link in the launch email. Either takes you off the list.
If we get it wrong
Tell us first and we will try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk, or on 0303 123 1113.
If this notice changes
Sight Screen is pre-launch, so this notice will be replaced by a fuller one when there is a product to describe. If what we do with your waitlist address changes before then, we will email you and ask again rather than change this page quietly.
